I'm Geordie Williamson, the founder of G.J Data Solutions.

For nearly a decade I've helped organizations turn scattered, untrusted data into reporting that people actually use — across sales, finance, HR, safety, legal and executive leadership. I've personally built more than 300 Power BI reports, from high-stakes executive dashboards to the everyday key-figure reports that keep a business running.

Much of that work was inside a multibillion-dollar North American enterprise, where I wore every hat on the data team: solution analyst, data architect, and global Power BI administrator. As administrator I owned the health of a Power BI environment serving 10,000+ users and 20,000+ reports, and I designed the Minimum Viable Governance model that merged two competing legacy approaches into one supportable system. That's the experience behind my Environment Review — I've run, at scale, the kind of environment I'm asked to assess.

I also believe good reporting is only half the job — people have to know how to use it. I've delivered over 3,000 hours of data education and built a 150-plus-person Power BI community of practice, including a certification course for business users. Building a data culture, not just dashboards, is what makes solutions stick.

My background is a little unusual for a data consultant: I hold degrees in both Information Systems and Marketing, and I started my career on a commercial sales team managing a $30M portfolio. That mix is the point — I speak the technical language of the data and the business language of the people who depend on it. It's why my reports get used instead of ignored.
